Detailed Setup Instructions To install the OOIDA ISP Internet service, insert the OOIDA ISP Internet Service CD ROM or click on the install icon that you downloaded onto your desktop from the my.ooidaisp.com website. The install program will begin. Click Next.
Select the radio button to accept the license agreement and click Next.
This will begin to install OOIDA ISP Internet Service.
Once it finishes installing, click on the Finish Button.
Once you click finish, it will bring you to the Welcome Panel. Click Next.
Enter in your area code. If you have call waiting and wish to disable it or if you need to set up the service to access an outside line, click on the Advanced Options button. Otherwise click Next.
Note: The image below is if you selected the advanced button to disable Call Waiting or To Access an Outside Line. If you do not need to do either of these functions, move onto the next image. If you need to disable call waiting, enter *70. If you need to access an outside line, enter the number you dial to access an outside line and click Next.
Make sure that the install found your dial up modem and click Next. To select a modem, click on the Open Modem Control Panel button.
The image below is to view your Phone and Modem Options if you need to configure you modem. If you do not need to configure your modem, move onto the next image.
Next you are ready to register. Click on the Next button.
The OOIDA ISP dialer will appear and attempt to connect to OOIDA ISP to finish your registration. (Note: The Dialer will dial a toll free number to finish your registration)
If you are a new user, enter in the I.D. code provided by your sales person or listed on the front of your CD and click Proceed (Click HERE for the setup screen you will view when signing up as a new customer.). If you an existing user, enter in your username and password and click Proceed.
After you enter your username and password and click proceed, the OOIDA ISP Dialer Installer will begin to finish your dialup setup.
Click OK.
The installation of your OOIDA ISP Internet service is now complete. All you have to do is click the CONNECT button and you can start enjoying your experience on the Internet. |
