OOIDA ISP will attempt to perform information updates and, optionally, system time synchronizations when connected. Personal firewall software may interfere with this operation and notify the user. The user should disable personal firewall notices for the OOIDA ISP application. Popup killers generate errors during registration or connecting to the Internet Some popup killer software generate errors during installation and registration or when OOIDA ISP attempts to connect to the Internet. If possible, the user should disable the popup killer functions for OOIDA ISP application OOIDA ISP's ad banner or online menus not working Some popup killers prevent menus and online ad banners from working properly because these items are retrieving web sites through Explorer. If possible, the user should add the providers web site as a trusted source and not block web content from those sites OOIDA ISP works with supported dial-up accelerators OOIDA ISP works with the following supported dial-up accelerator: Artera, SlipStream, ProxyConn and Propel.
